We care about community and we care about Coolum. Since our doors swung open 3 years ago we have worked tirelessly to keep things exciting and fun for the locals and the visitors alike.
Live music, cocktails and all the local craft beers you could imagine on offer; paired with a menu we are pretty dang proud of using locally sourced ingredients.
Catch us on Wednesday nights with Amore Pizza co for the perfect hump day treat and every Friday and Saturday night for the weekend fun we all deserve.
The Founders
Together they are just a small part of the Alley Cat family and we couldn’t be happier they gave us a place to call home.
Meet Mae & Kiahl, or as we at Alleycat like to call them… Mum & Dad. The brains and the brawn behind the operation, let them fight over who’s who though. Having grown up together right here in Coolum Beach, this is where they learnt to ride a bike, where they went to school, where they went to their first party… and where they started their own business.
After spending some time overseas, they have since settled back into Coolum life for the long haul. As well as being the mother of us (and kiahl on his bad days), Mae is also the proud mum of a beautiful little girl, with one more one the way. Naturally this makes her the master of operations around these parts, and we are eternally grateful.
Kiahl can be found behind the coffee machine most days, THE KING OF THE CAPPUCINO… He is much more than just a really loud voice and an incredible barista. He’s also a pro volleyball player and the dad of the best Aussie shepherd in the whole wide world, Banksia.
